Heartwood Farm Goats

Our goats are a mix of purebred Nigerian Dwarfs and Nigerian Dwarf - Lamancha crosses, with the exception of our oldest whether, Patchy, who is part Alpine.  Goats are herd animals and form strong bonds with each other. They also enjoy people and like daily attention. We love to take our goats on walks along the property trails. Goats are browsers and will eat berry vines, poison oak, young trees and many other plants. Ours help keep our brush and weeds in check. They can also live on hay and goat-specific grain. Goats do need good fencing and a dry shelter. They HATE rain! Their lifespan is similar to a pet dog, on average 10 -15 yrs

Most of our herd is here to stay. However, we do occasionally have babies and/or additional goats which we try to rehome in order to manage our herd and ensure they all live their best lives. We will only consider loving homes. Our goats are sold in compatible groups or pairs (min) unless the new home has well-matched goat friends already. Goats that are for sale will have a price listed in their description. PLease contact us for more information.
